So, as a young pup, Maizie used to play with my shoes while I was gone. She’d greet me at the door with one when I came home, all proud of herself, not realizing I wasn’t too pleased with what she was offering.
After many stern talking-tos, Maizie realized that maaaaybe mom didn’t like toothmarks in her shoes. Huh, go figure. Well, she’s regressing–it’s now a couple years later, and look who’s been playing with my shoes? The only difference now is that she knows she’s not supposed to be doing it. Kids!
